Welcome to Bedtime Stories AI ("App"). By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

The App is designed to be used by parents or legal guardians to create and read stories together with their children. Children are not intended to use the App independently.

1. Eligibility and Parental Supervision

  • The App is intended for use by adults (parents or legal guardians) who choose to create and read stories together with their children.
  • By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are responsible for supervising how the App is used with your child, including reviewing AI-generated content before sharing it.

2. AI-Generated Content

Our App utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate stories based on user inputs (prompts).

  • Nature of AI: You acknowledge that AI is an evolving technology. While we implement strict safety filters to ensure content is child-friendly, AI may occasionally generate content that is nonsensical, repetitive, or inaccurate.
  • Verification: We recommend that adult users review generated stories before sharing them with children to ensure the content aligns with their preferences and family values.
  • No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that the generated stories will be unique to you. The AI may generate similar stories for other users who provide similar prompts.

You acknowledge that AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and educational inspiration only and should not be considered factual, instructional, or a substitute for professional advice.

3. User Accounts and Data

To access certain features (like saving stories or tracking reading progress), the App may store data locally or in the cloud.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any account credentials.
  • You agree not to use the App to generate content that is offensive, harmful, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a family audience.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App may offer a premium subscription service (e.g., "Create your own stories" or "Unlimited Access").

  • Payment: Payments will be charged to your Apple Account (Apple) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Account Settings. We cannot cancel subscriptions or issue refunds directly, as these are processed by Apple or Google.

If you are using Bedtime Stories AI on an Apple device, please note that this Agreement is between you and Bedtime Stories AI not Apple. Apple is not responsible for any claims or issues related to the use of the Bedtime Stories AI.

By using Bedtime Stories AI, you agree to comply with applicable third-party terms and conditions, including those set by Apple.

4.2. Subscriptions Terms for Google Play Users

We are committed to enhancing your experience through our subscription plans. In app subscriptions will be charged via your Google Play account. Here's what you need to know about our offerings:

  1. Free Use: create a limited number of stories using AI.
  2. Subscriptions Benefits:
    • All features in Bedtime Stories AI
    • Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  3. How to Subscribe?: Go to the Home Screen > Pro Icon > Select the subscription plan

5. User Conduct and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Input personal sensitive information (PII) such as home addresses or full real names into the AI story prompts.

6. Intellectual Property

  • App Ownership: The App design, graphics, logos, and code are owned by AppGeneration Software Technologies.
  • Generated Stories: Subject to the terms of the AI provider we use, you are granted a non-exclusive right to use, read, and share the stories generated for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Generated stories are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is eligible for copyright protection, and ownership may vary depending on applicable laws and the policies of our AI service providers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that the AI generation will always be available, or that specific educational outcomes (e.g., learning mathematics) will be achieved.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppGeneration Software Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page or through an in-app notification.
